Student Entrepreneur of Year Award

“When I was a student entrepreneur, there were times when it felt like I was dancing in the dark, and I desperately needed a sense of assurance that my work was making a difference. I know how much difference a little encouragement can make, so I decided to create that assurance for others through this award.” – Tom-Chris Emewulu, Creator of Student Entrepreneurship Week

We established this prestigious award to recognize students who are going the extra mile in making the world better than they met it.

Entrepreneurship is a risky business, and for those young people who dare to step across the line, we are motivated to celebrate their works. Most times, society does not take youth entrepreneurs seriously because they think one has to reach 40 years before one can gain enough experience to start a company. We, as a youth-led company, are saying NO, change can happen at any age, and solutions can come from anyone!

This award is part of our commitment to spotlight the thinkers and dreamers that would ordinarily not be recognized. If you have what it takes to win the coveted prize or know someone who does, follow the instruction below on how to be nominated. Please note that you must be a student (formal or informal) at the time of filling the form to qualify.
